The preliminary induction and training that took place on Saturday 16th August at Hyde Park was full of excitement and fun and the children's performance was impressive and beyond their parents' and coordinators' expectations to say the least.

However, the highlight of the day was the fact that some of these children who had never met before bonded and were inseparable. To continue and enhance the bonding process of our children and families we will be using the opportunity of the festival to camp at the nearby site called Lee Valley Camping and Caravan Park at Edmonton for the duration of the festival starting Friday 29th August.

We would therefore like to extend our invitation to all Eritrean families to join us in celebrating our festival.

The deadline for the campsite application is Monday 25th August.

For more details regarding the children's activity programme and the camp site please contact  Senait Tekle on 079 462 89403.

We will be holding another induction and training day as well as picnic on Sunday 24th August at Hyde Park Speakers' Corner staring 1200 hrs.

All parents and children are welcome.
