Eritreans in the UK celebrate International Women's Day Meadna News NUEW-UK held a colorful concert and children’s program in celebration of International Women's Day. Another important community event also took place this week; a seminar highlighting issues that affect Eritrean families in Diaspora was held on Sunday. The seminar that was organized by Eritrean Community in the UK, was conducted by Dr. Tesfay Aradom, Proffesor of Social Science. The seminar started with the children in the afternoon and continued with the parents throughout the evening and addressed issues including immigration and its psychosocial consequences, relationship between parents and children, identity formation and communication across generations |
